As another year rolls past a new one begins! - and what a year I intend it to be!
2012 is going to hold so much good stuff you wont know what to sink your chops into 1st!
I am of course re-launching myself and am working towards a HUGE new production with Veronika Valentine Presents.
Defiant Degree have recorded so many great tracks and we will be filming the video in the next coming months - DEFINATELY one to watch!

I know that 2011 has been a really tough year for many but keeping the chin up and looking to a positive future is sparkling in my eyes - and I hope it is in yours too

Veronika xx ]]><![CDATA[1st Blog of December..]]>Sun, 04 Dec 2011 06:03:09 -0800http://www.missveronikavalentine.com/1/post/2011/12/1st-blog-of-december.htmlSo I've been a bit slack with the blogs lately - my last post being a few weeks ago in November; my colaboration and management of "Defiant Degree" has taken much of my time this last month, directing photoshoots, building their profiles - getting live recordings up n' distributed and general promotion. I have to say - the band are sounding wicked! and I cant wait to work with them as part of Veronika Valentine Presents in 2012.
I was back performing for "Le Theatre De Decadence" last month and received some lovely shots from Benjamin Smith (Thanks Ben!) He's a student in Wakefield who looks to have a very lucrative career ahead of him.... check out a few shots below and see more @ www.facebook.com/Veronika.Valentine
With Christmas looming ever closer and the busy holiday period ahead I will be busy choreographing my new acts and also a Debut act for the all round sexy sultry talent that is "Mina Dutton" - I really cant WAIT to work with this lady! She is my protege....and I see HUGE things happening for her. Over the years I have worked with thousands of performers, musicians and artists and I can honestly say that she is one of the most exciting to date - She has creativity seeping from her every pore, charisma to rival Elizabeth Taylor and a voice like velvet! - combined (and in the ever-so famous words of Charlie Sheen!) We're "Winning" with this lady!
DO NOT miss this journey - I will be blogging her progress here from 2012 - DON'T MISS HER!!!

As always I am on the look-out for new talent - and will be taking on a 2nd protege in July 2012 - This will be a great opportunity for 1 individual to work with me to create a complet and unique performer. I will tutor, choreograph, manage and promote ALL FREE OF CHARGE! - More about this in the future ..... but something for you to think about now and spread the word about ...

On that note - I'm off to work on Mina's portfolio now.. so wish you all a FABULOUS week!

After a lot of debating and name throwing, Myself, Mina and Sahar have decided that the new name for Dark Burlesque, Is "Veronika Valentine Presents.." We found that we couldnt pigeon hole what we do and decided to go with our choice as to bring an array of shows under one name.
So the journey begins here where Dark Burlesque left off... and we would be honoured to have you along side us on what we promise will be a most spectacular ride.

We are all very excited and busy getting things underway, and promise to keep you up-dated regularly.

SO - It is 2.5 hours till my birthday - and i know i promised to write a blog on my "actual" birthday but I figured that tomorrow is pretty jam packed for me, so i'd get in sooner rather than later. .. not than i can promise a coherent blog as this weekend was a rather heavy one!
This last year has been longer than a decade but gone in a flash! I moved home, have found new business partners, performed in some truely fabulous venues for some lovely lovely people and thrown everything that the world has thrown at me right back at it!
They say the older you get the wiser you get - or that we mature like a fine wine.... i guess there is some truth to this and as the years pass more quickly and people come and go in your life, you do get a much broader picture of the world and thoose that you share it with.
I know that i'm truely blessed to have some of the greatest friends in the world around me and a totally loving family, so i count my blessings every day (even when they've been sprinkled with mud!)...and also to evryone who follows my career or visits my blog or come to see my shows; without all of you there would be little point in doing what I do - so Thanks-You! love and appreciate you all!
What I do promise you all for this year is a lot more action from me -New shows - more pictures and footage and lots more competitions!

Hope you all had a great weekend!
It's one week to my birthday! - Although admittedly I am not as excited as I used to get as a kid! Perhaps it's the absence of jelly and ice cream, balloons and forbidden fizzy drinks and 90's pop tunes!!
So I'M going to give you a gift! - I always get so many lovely birthday wishes on facebook that I'm hoping i can start re-directing you all this way instead - as I'm going to start doing all my main blogging and updates at my website now.....

SO - for EVERY lovely birthday wish I get on my blog that I post on 3rd October, I will post you a signed "Thank-you" if you want one - and I will also pick out 3 Favourite posts to send a 3D Burlesque DVD, Starring myself, Roxy Velvet, Chrys Columbine, Millicent Binks and more - we will virtually dance for you in your living room!

Also a huge thanks to Adam Promotions who I performed for at a private event last week - really was a great night and a pleasure to work along side "Minnies Henhouse!"
